(September 7, 1985) is an American farmer, Marine Corps veteran, motivational speaker, Paralympic athlete, and politician.
In 2010, while serving in Afghanistan, he was severely wounded in action by an improvised explosive device where he lost both legs above the knee.
Jones made headlines when he completed 31 consecutive marathons in 31 days while raising money for veterans.
Between 2013 and 2014, he cycled nearly 5,200 miles across the United States in order to raise awareness for wounded veterans.
He also won a bronze medal with Oksana Masters in mixed double sculls (rowing) at the 2012 Summer Paralympics.He is a candidate for the Republican nomination in Virginia's 10th congressional district for the 2020 elections.
