  • Andrzej Michal Bargiel (Polish pronunciation: ['and??j 'm?ixaw 'barg??l]; born 18 April 1988 in Letownia) is a Polish ski mountaineer, backcountry skier, mountain runner and climber.
  • He represents the TKN Tatra Team.
  • He is the current record holder in taking the least amount of time to achieve the Snow Leopard award.
  • He is also the current record holder for the Elbrus Race (in 2010, extreme route, 3:23:37).
  • In September 2014, Bargiel set a record time climbing from base camp to the summit of Manaslu in 14 hours 5 minutes.
  • He also set a record time for base-peak-base at 21 hours 14 minutes.
  • In July 2018, he completed his ascent of K2 and was the first ever to ski from the summit.
  • He lives in Zakopane.
