Blessed Angela Salawa (9 September 1881 - 12 March 1922) was a Polish woman who served in hospitals in World War I.
She was the 11th child and lived in a very religious family.
She became a member of the Secular Franciscan Order and worked in hospitals throughout World War I.
She later became sick due to working alongside the sick and died in 1922. On the road to sainthood Pope John Paul II beatified her in 1991.
