Brunger (born November 25, 1956) is a German American biophysicist.
He is Professor of Molecular and Cellular Physiology, and Neurology, of Photon Science and, by courtesy, of Structural Biology at Stanford University, and a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator.
He also is currently serving as the Chair of the Department of Molecular and Cellular Physiology (2013–present).
