Thereza Grisólia Tang (February 10, 1922 - October 17, 2009) became the first female judge in Brazil in 1954.
She became the substitute judge of the 12th circuit of Santa Catarina.
From 1989 to 1990 she presided over the Supreme Court of Santa Catarina.
At the age of seventy she was required to retire, which she regretted.
She had Parkinson's disease and eventually died aged 87 due to pancreatic cancer.
