Brett Frank Geymann (born December 8, 1961) is a businessman from Lake Charles, Louisiana, who is a Republican former member of the Louisiana House of Representatives for District 35 in Calcasieu and Beauregard parishes.
Geymann was an unsuccessful candidate for Louisiana's 3rd congressional district seat in the primary election held on November 8, 2016, in conjunction with the presidential election.
The position was then held by Republican Charles Boustany, who ran instead, unsuccessfully, for the United States Senate for the seat vacated by Republican David Vitter.
Geymann's principal opponents included Scott Angelle, a former member of the Louisiana Public Service Commission from Breaux Bridge and Clay Higgins, a Crime Stoppers reporter known for his harsh attacks on the criminal element.
In the December runoff contest, Higgins handily defeated Angelle to claim the House seat.
