About Corran Purdon
- Major-General Corran Wiliam Brooke Purdon (4 May 1921 – 27 June 2018) was an Irish-born commando in the British Army, who took part in the raid on St Nazaire for which he was awarded the Military Cross.
- He was subsequently a prisoner in Colditz Castle.
