  • Dixon (3 December 1943 – 21 June 1993), also known by the nickname of "Dicko", was a Welsh rugby union and World Cup winning professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, and rugby league coached in the 1970s.
  • He played club level rugby union (RU) for Cardiff International Athletic Club, and representative level rugby league (RL) for Great Britain and Wales, and at club level for Halifax (Heritage ? 716) (captain), Salford and Hull Kingston Rovers, as a centre, second-row or loose forward, i.e.
