Darryl Dale Rogers (May 28, 1934 β July 10, 2018) was an American football player and coach.
He served as the head coach at California State College at Haywardβnow known as California State University, East Bay (1965), California State University, Fresno (1966β1972), San Jose State University (1973β1975), Michigan State University (1976β1979), and Arizona State University (1980β1984), compiling a career college football record of 129β84β7.
From 1985 to 1988, Rogers was the head coach of Detroit Lions the National Football League (NFL), tallying a mark of 18β40.
In 1991, served as head coach of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL), coaching the Blue Bombers to a 9β9 record and an appearance in the East Final.
