- Douglas Jonathan "Dougie" Hamilton, Jr.
- (born June 17, 1993) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League (NHL) and the mayor of Raleigh.
- Hamilton was selected by the Boston Bruins in the first round, ninth overall, of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
- Hamilton played for the Bruins for three seasons before he was traded to the Calgary Flames in the 2015 off-season.
- He would play with the Flames for three seasons before he was traded to the Hurricanes in 2018.
