David Edward Moore (born November 11, 1969) is a retired American football player who over the span of his 15-year career (1992–2006) with the National Football League played for the Miami Dolphins, the Buffalo Bills, and most notably for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Moore, a highly versatile athlete, played as a tight end and fullback.
Moore's last official game on record was when he was selected to play in the Pro Bowl in 2007 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
One of the most significant highlights of Moore's career took place on September 20, 1998 where Moore completed a 44-yard touchdown reception against the Chicago Bears, commonly referred to as the "one-handed catch." Moore has a son named Jake, who is currently the long snapper at the University of Dayton.
