Bertha Mae Foster (May 3, 1881 – February 29, 1968) was a founding regent of the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, and served on its board of trustees from 1925 to 1941.
She was appointed its first dean of music in 1926 by the university's first president, Bowman F.
Ashe, and served as dean of its School of Music for 18 years until her retirement in 1944.
The University of Miami awarded Bertha Foster an honorary doctor of musical arts (D.M.A.) in 1951.
