Hanaway (December 25, 1933 – September 7, 1995) was the 40th Attorney General of the State of Wisconsin, serving from 1987 to 1991.
He defeated incumbent Democrat Bronson La Follette in 1986, but was himself defeated for re-election by Democrat Jim Doyle in 1990.
