About Dwayne Smith
- Dwayne Romel Smith (born 12 April 1983) is a former Barbadian international cricketer who has represented the West Indies in all three formats of the game.
- A (part-time) all-rounder, he is known as an aggressive and powerful right-handed batsman, bowls medium pace, and is also an athletic fielder. Smith has played for Barbados since the start of his career but has also played three seasons for Sussex from 2008–10.
- He has become a sought-after Twenty20 player, making appearances in the Indian Premier League, for the Chennai Super Kings Mumbai Indians and the Deccan Chargers, and for New South Wales in the Australian domestic competition and for the Bangladesh Premier League in Khulna Royal Bengals for Pakistan Super League in Islamabad United.
- On 1 March 2017, Smith announced his retirement from all international cricket.Smith has the record for scoring the most number of ducks in T20 cricket history (27).
