Changkye (2 February 1924 – 31 October 1994) was a Mauritian diplomat, politician, Member of the National Assembly of Mauritius, municipal councillor, mayor, jurist, writer and poet.
He was a distinguished member of the Mauritius Labour Party and served as ambassador to Paris.
He was an attorney-at-law by profession and he also won recognition for his literary works.
