Eaknath Ganpatrao Khadse (born 2 September 1952) is a politician and senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Maharashtra state.
He was Member of Legislative Assembly of Maharashtra from Muktainagar taluka.
He was Finance Minister, Agriculture minister of Maharashtra from 2014 to 2016.He is from North Maharashtra He was leader of opposition in regime of Congress-NCP collation government Maharashtra around 2009.
He had been in the BJP since the foundation of the party, then called Janta Party and has won six consecutive elections, representing the Muktainagar constituency of Jalgaon district until 2019.
He served as a minister of various departments for the BJP government in the mid- to late 1990s and mid-2010s.Khadse was State Finance Minister and later additionally took on the responsibility as Agriculture Minister in the Shiv Sena–BJP government.
He was one of the names considered for the post of Chief Minister of Maharashtra in 2014 after Maharashtra assembly elections but senior leaders of BJP chose Devendra Fadanvis for the post.On 3 June 2016, Khadse resigned as Revenue Minister following allegations of corruption and misuse of office.In 2019 Maharashtra assembly polls : BJP dropped Eknath Khdase's name from candidate's listIn 2019 Maharashtra Assembly election BJP did not gave ticket to Khadse Instead the party offered ticket to his daughter Rohini Khadse-Khevalkar.
However she lost election by just 1987 votes against Shiv sena's Chandrakant Patil .he was independent candidate
