Endang Witarsa, a.k.a.
Liem Soen Joe or Liem Sun Yu (Chinese: ???; pinyin: Lín Shùnyou;1916 - 2 April 2008), was a former Indonesian National Soccer (PSSI) Coach and former national team player.
He competed in the men's tournament at the 1956 Summer Olympics.Witarsa trained as a dentist, but soon discovered as a young man that his passion lay with soccer.
He joined UMS in 1948 as a halfback.
When he hung up his shoes in 1951, he became one of Indonesia's greatest coaches. Witarsa received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Badan Liga Indonesia in October 2006 (similar as Serie A FIGC) because of his dedication for nearly 70 years as player and coach.
