- Marita Hakala (born 10 November 1968) is a Finnish fashion model, who worked in many countries' top agencies as a high fashion model.
- She started her career in Milan, Italy, and her first booking was with high end fashion house Blumarine. After her active international modeling career, Hakala wrote TV format Mallikoulu (Model School) based on her own experiences in the modeling world as a shy Finnish girl.
- The show was aired on Finland's main channel MTV3 on Fridays at prime time during 2005 and 2006.
- The winner of the first season was Suvi Koponen (Suvi Riggs) who was then a 16-year-old school girl, and is now a world renowned super model. Marita Hakala is known for her multifaceted experience in fashion modeling business, and especially her skills to scout and train new model talents.
- She is the owner of her own international Model and Talent Agency Casting House Inc.
