Evan Flatow, M.D., is President of Mount Sinai West (formerly Mount Sinai Roosevelt), part of the Mount Sinai Health System, and an internationally recognized American orthopaedic surgeon.
Prior to Dr.
Flatow's appointment as President of Mount Sinai West, he served as the Bernard J.
Lasker Professor and Chair of the Leni and Peter W.
May Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and as Director of the Orthopaedic Surgery Service at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.Flatow is the author of several books, multiple book chapters and more than 300 publications.
He was chosen by Castle Connolly as one of America's top doctors and has won the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons's Neer Award, its highest honor, four times.
