Frederik Christian Kaas (1 December 1727 - 28 March 1804) was a Danish naval officer and landowner, brother of Ulrik Christian Kaas.
He joined the navy as a second lieutenant in 1747, became a viceadmiral in 1790 and an admiral in 1800.
On 7 January 1765, he was married on Constantinsborg to Sophie Elisabeth Charisius who died only 4 years later.
As a result, he married again on 11 September 1771 in Bøstrup Church to Edele Sophie Kaas.
He was appointed Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog, he also led Denmark–Norway in the Danish–Algerian War with 2 frigates, 2 bomb galiots and 4 ships of the line.
In 1765-66 he went on a diplomatic mission to Morocco.
