Roman Jacek Giertych (Polish pronunciation: ['r?man 'g??rt?x]; born 27 February 1971 in Srem, Poland) is a Polish politician and lawyer; he was Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education until August 2007.
He was a member of the Sejm (the lower house of the Polish parliament) from 2001 until October 2007 and the chairman of the League of Polish Families party.
