Linda Mkhize (22 June 1981 – 8 August 2018), better known by his stage name ProKid or PRO, was a South African rapper and producer.
He was known for rapping in a mixture of South African township vernacular and English on township life or Kasi.
He became famous following the release of his self-recorded record Soweto with his long time producer and collaborator "Omen The Chef".
His song, "Wozobona" gained widespread popularity in South Africa.
Mkhize contributed to the development of kasi rap.
His work influenced other aritsts such as Red Button, SIYA SHEZI, F-Eezy, K.O., Emtee Da Huslter and Kwesta & Ndumiso (King N) Vilakazi Debut album 2005 Hales And Tales His first single Woza Ozobabona was a big hit
