Marianna Pensky is a Professor at the University of Central Florida.
Her research interests lie in the areas of theoretical and applied statistics.
Her research is currently supported by the National Science Foundation.She is a Member of the Board of Directors of the International Society for NonParametric Statistics (ISNPS).She is a member of the International Statistical Institute (since 2011).She is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Statistical Planning and Inference.In 2008-09 she won the UCF Research Incentive Award (RIA).
In 2006-07 she won the Teaching Incentive Program (TIP) award.She is author of The Stress-strength Model and Its Generalizations: Theory and Applications (World Scientific Publishing, 2003).
