  • He was a grandson of merchant Axel Pettersen, who owned the company Gunerius Pettersen A/S (now: Gunerius Shoppingsenter).
  • Axel owned the company, which was founded by Gunerius Pettersen, together with Harald, Gunerius and Carl Pettersen who were all Gunerius Pettersen's granduncles.
