  • He was born in Chambly, Quebec.
  • After attending high school in Somerville and Worcester, Massachusetts, he went to Syracuse University.
  • He played college football there as an end.
  • He played one game as a professional football player with the Rochester Jeffersons of the National Football League (NFL) in 1922.
  • Robertson served as a line coach as his alma mater, Syracuse, from 1921 to 1923.
  • He became the head football coach at Oglethorpe University in 1924.
  • He was succeeded by John Patrick following the 1933 season.
  • His 1926 team upset William Alexander's Georgia Tech squad, 7 to 6.
