Henare Te Raumoa Huatahi Balneavis (26 March 1880 – 13 May 1940) was a New Zealand interpreter, private secretary and public administrator.
Of Maori descent, he identified with the Ngai Tamanuhiri and Te Whakatohea iwi.
He was born in Muriwai, south of Gisborne, on 26 March 1880.In July 1927, to mark the visit of the Duke and Duchess of York to New Zealand, Balneavis was appointed a Member of the Royal Victorian Order.
