- Qaboos bin Said Al Said (Arabic: ????? ?? ???? ??????????, IPA: ['qa?bu?s b?n 'sa?i?d ?a?l 'sa?i?d]; born 18 November 1940) has been the Sultan of Oman since ousting his father, Said bin Taimur, in the 1970 Omani coup d'état.
- He has been the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman since 1972.
- A fourteenth-generation descendant of the founder of the House of Al Said, he is the longest-serving leader in the Middle East and Arab world.
