- Previously, Barrios spent four seasons with Colombian first division side Uniautónoma.
- From 2011 to 2015, the winger made 136 appearances totaling 10,091 minutes for Uniautónoma, where he scored 35 goals.
- Barrios signed with MLS club FC Dallas on 19 February 2015.
