Iqrar Ahmad Khan is a Pakistani agricultural scientist and a professor of Horticulture at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad.
He served as a Vice Chancellor for University of Agriculture, Faisalabad from 2008 to 2017.
He earned his Ph.D.
from the University of California, Riverside.
Khan has released a potato variety (PARS-70), pioneered the research on breeding seedless Kinnow and discovered two new botanical varieties of wheat.
He was author of STED funded Citrus Nursery Project launched at UAF.
He was instrumental in developing international/regional mango research program to combat the sudden death of mango.
He was disqualified by Lahore high court on Wednesday 9 August 2017 discreet (UAF) University of Agriculture, Faisalabad acting Vice-Chancellor Prof.
Iqrar Ahmad Khan from his job and ordered Prof Dr Zafar Iqbal its Pro-Vice Chancellor to look after the university's matters.
