  • Jon Francis "Jack" Hughes (born July 20, 1957 in Somerville, Massachusetts) is a retired American professional ice hockey defenseman who played 46 games in the National Hockey League for the Colorado Rockies.
  • He played with the 1980 U.S Olympic team, who would eventually go on to defeat the highly favoured Soviet Union team in the famous "Miracle on Ice" game.
  • However, he was cut shortly before the beginning of the Olympics, and never got to play with the team as they won the gold medal.
