About Jack Wrout
- John Everett "Jack" Wrout (8 October 1911 – 16 June 1981) was an Australian rules footballer who played in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Wrout debuted in the VFL for North Melbourne.
- He made the move to Princes Park and made his debut for the Carlton Football Club in Round 12 of the 1936 season.
- He broke his leg in a game against Footscray in 1944 and was forced into retirement.
- Wrout later served a long administrative career at Carlton, serving as chairman of selectors.
