- James Parker Landis (July 20, 1843 – December 1, 1924) was a United States soldier who was recognized with his nation's highest award for valor, the U.S.
- Medal of Honor, for his gallantry during the American Civil War.
- While serving as the Chief Bugler of the 1st Pennsylvania Cavalry/44th Pennsylvania Volunteers as part of the Union Army, he captured the enemy flag during the Battle of Amelia Springs at Paines Crossroads, Virginia on April 5, 1865.
