Gethyn Elliot Hewan (23 December 1916 – 1 July 1988) was an English first-class cricketer and schoolmaster.
He studied mathematics as the University of Cambridge, during which he played first-class cricket for Cambridge University Cricket Club, before accepting a fellowship to study at Yale University.
He served in the Second World War with the Royal Horse Artillery, for which he was mentioned in dispatches.
Following the war he took up teaching posts at several educational establishments, most notably as headmaster of Cranbrook School, Sydney.
