Joffre James Cross (August 28, 1918 – July 23, 1997) known professionally as Jeff Cross, was an American professional baseball player.
He played infield for the St.
Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Cross served in the United States Navy during World War II, missing the 1943 through 1945 baseball seasons.
After his retirement as a player, Cross managed the Houston Little League team to the 1950 Little League World Series championship.
