- James Thomson ‘Jim’ Greenwood (2 December 1928 – 13 September 2010) was a Scottish rugby union player and coach.
- He won twenty caps for Scotland and four for the British Lions as a number eight and flanker.As a coach and coach educator, he was an advocate of 'total rugby'.
