He first played for Ashanti Gold S.C.
Bonsu has played for the Ghana U-17 team as a goalkeeper.
In 2005, he also played in the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Peru.Bonsu currently plays for the Enugu Rangers since January 31, 2016 when he was signed.
