About José Maranhão
- José Targino Maranhão (born September 6, 1933 in Araruna, Paraíba) active in Brazilian politics, was former governor of Paraíba. He is the son of Benjamim Gomes Maranhão, ex-mayor of Araruna, Paraíba and Dona Benedita Targino Maranhão (Dona YaYá). Allied with PMDB, he was state representative, federal representative, senator, vice-governor and governor of the state Paraíba for three times. Currently he is without any political mandate.
