About William R. Horsfall

  • William Robert Horsfall (11 January 1907 - 18 November 1998) was an American entomologist who was a professor of medical entomology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a specialist on mosquitoes particularly in the genus Aedes. Horsfall was born in Mountain Grove, Missouri to Frank and Margaret Uaulx.
