About Kabir Hashim
- Mohamed Hashim Mohamed Kabir (Sinhala: ????? ?????, Tamil: ????? ??????; born 19 May 1959) popularly known as Kabir Hashim is a Sri Lankan politician and economist.
- He is a member of the Parliament of Sri Lanka representing the Kegalle District and is the Minister of Highways, Higher Education and Investment Promotion of the government of Sri Lanka.
- He was former General Secretary of the United National Party.
- He was educated at Royal College Colombo and Trinity College Kandy.
- Hashim has obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of sabaragamuwa, Sri Lanka.
