- István Teplán (Hungarian: Teplán István; born 1958 son of István Teplán Sr.
- biochemist and brother of Dr.
- Attila Teplán of ECHR) is a Hungarian economic historian, sociologist and educator, graduated from Harvard IEM in 1999.
- He is one of the creators of the first international Western-style graduate school in the post-communist Central Europe.
