Daniel Inouye Peña (born February 9, 1988) is a Mexican-American novelist, essayist, and critic frequently published in The Guardian and Ploughshares blogs, as well as several other publications.
He received the Pushcart Prize in 2016 for his short story “Safe Home” which appeared in the 2017 Pushcart anthology.
His debut novel Bang was originally published on January 30, 2018 through Arte Público Press, a publisher of contemporary literature by Hispanic authors.
