He is the former bantamweight champion in both organizations.
A professional competitor since 2010, Horiguchi formerly competed in the UFC and is the former Shooto Bantamweight Champion.
He graduated from Sakushin Gakuin High School in Utsunomiya, Tochigi, Japan.
