Hans Eberhard Apel (25 February 1932 – 6 September 2011) was a German politician and a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).
From 1972 to 1974 he was Parliamentary State Secretary to the Foreign Minister.
From 1974 to 1978 he was the Minister of Finance and from 1978 to 1982 he was the Minister of Defence.
