Lis Wiehl (born August 19, 1961) is a New York Times bestselling American author of fiction and nonfiction books, and a legal analyst.
She is the author of eighteen books, including, most recently, the first in the new trio called The Hunting Series — Hunting Charles Manson: The Quest for Justice in the Days of Helter Skelter, published by Thomas Nelson/HarperCollins.
After working at NBC News and National Public Radio’s All Things Considered, Wiehl moved to the Fox News Channel (FNC) where she served as a legal analyst and reporter for over fifteen years.
She has appeared on numerous FNC shows and has been a reporter for, or interviewed on, NPR, CNN, and other media.Wiehl earned her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, her Master of Arts in Literature from the University of Queensland, and a bachelor's degree from Barnard College, Columbia University.
