Tuomas Sammelvuo (born 16 February 1976) is a Finnish former professional volleyball player.
He was the head coach of Finland's national team and since 2016 he is the head coach of the Russian club VC Kuzbass Kemerovo.
Sammelvuo signed a two-years contracts with the Volleyball Federation of Russia to serve as a head coach of the Russian national team until 2020.
Sammelvuo is still the only Finnish male volleyball player to win the CEV Champions League (2005).
He has also twice won the France volleyball A1-league (1999, 2005).
Having played 296 games in the Finnish national team, he has the second-largest number of games in Finnish volleyball history.
