  • Ali is a left-handed batsman who bowls right-arm fast-medium.
  • He was born at Oxford, Oxfordshire. Ali made his debut for Oxfordshire in the 1996 Minor Counties Championship against Wales Minor Counties.
  • Ali played Minor counties cricket for Oxfordshire from 1996 to 2011, which has included 21 Minor Counties Championship matches and 20 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches.
