Roman Gorskiy (born August 25, 1985), known as Froz, is an award-winning competitive breakdancer born in Russia and raised in Italy.
Born in Moscow (Russia), due to work issues of his father (tennis coach of the female national team in Russia), he moved with his family to Conversano (Italy) in 1993.
He practised basketball, tennis and karate, then in 2001 he started dancing after he watched the videoclip Freestyler and started training in breakdance.
In 2003 he founded the first and major Italian website about breakdance, break-dance.it, filled with tutorials.
In 2004 he moved to Milan and joined the crew Bandits; along with them he won several national contests and he performed in ads, music videoclips, TV shows and other international events.
In 2013 in Modena he won, for the second year, the Italian championship of Red Bull BC One?, then in Naples the European contest (le Western European Finals), eventually attending the finals of the world championship in Seoul, the only Italian participant so far.
In 2015 he made his debut as a radio commentator for the live broadcast of the Red Bull BC One, held in Rome, on Radio 105.In 2018 with the Bandits crew he represented Italy in the most important international contest of choreographic breaking, the Battle Of the Year International, in France.It was a choreographer and a teacher in the popular Italian talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi.
In 2018 he founded in Milan the Bandits Dance Studio, the first professonal breakdance academy in Italy, where besides regular dance classes, lessons about marketing, self branding and communication applied to the world of dance are taught.
His effort in teaching breaking wants to spread a healthy lifestyle, to keep away from the criminality and to offer a life purpose.Grandson of a soldier of the Red Army, he openly shows simpathy for communism, he is an admirer of the Italian communist leader Enrico Berlinguer.
He has competed wearing a red jacket with the ???? logo or, when representing Italy, a T-shirt with the Italian flag and the symbol of the Italian partisans.
