Cyril Raker Endfield (November 10, 1914 – April 16, 1995) was an American screenwriter, film director, theatre director, author, magician and inventor.
Having been named as a Communist at a House Un-American Activities Committee hearing and subsequently blacklisted, he moved to Britain in 1953, where he spent the remainder of his career.
