  • Mark Robert Killenbeck (born September 29, 1948 in Rochester, New York) is an American legal scholar and historian who is the Wylie H.
  • Davis Distinguished Professor of Law at the University of Arkansas School of Law.
  • He earned a bachelors in English literature from Boston College and a JD and a PhD at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
  • After teaching literature at the University of Kansas, Killenbeck worked for thirteen years in central administrative positions for the University of Nebraska System.
  • In 1988 he accepted a teaching position in law at the University of Nebraska.
  • He was made Distinguished Professor at the University of Arkansas in 1999.
  • He is the author of two books and numerous articles, some of which have been published in the Supreme Court Review, the California Law Review, and the Michigan Law Review.He is a contributing editor of the history journal Historically Speaking.
  • In 1994 he was elected a member of the American Law Institute.
