Michel Morandais (born January 10, 1979) is a French professional basketball player for ASVEL Basket of the LNB Pro A.
Morandais who played college basketball in the United States for the Colorado Buffaloes of the Pac-12 Conference.
After going undrafted in the 2004 NBA draft he signed with Italian club Pallacanestro Cantù.From 2004 to 2008 Morandais spent time with 4 clubs in Italy and Spain, including AXA FC Barcelona and Vertical Vision Cantu, while being named an All-Star in the Italian LBA league.
In 2008 he returned to France and played for SLUC Nancy Basket.
While with Champagne Châlons-Reims Basket, Morandais won LNB Pro B Most valuable player in 2014.Since 2006, Morandais has made 10 appearances for the France national basketball team most notably in the EuroBasket 2013 championship scoring five points.
